01 — The challenge
Where we started.
Unlocking a Verde bike took three minutes and six screens. Many riders gave up at the dock and took a taxi.
The goal was a ride that starts as fast as you can pull out your phone.
02 — The process
Time every tap
We filmed 40 real unlocks and timed every step that slowed people down.
One sheet
Map, battery, price and the unlock button now live on a single bottom sheet.
Park anywhere green
A simple green zone on the map replaced twelve rules about parking.
