I’ve kept notebooks for as long as I’ve designed things. Most of them are paper, half-finished and full of arrows. This one is public, which makes it a little scarier and a lot more useful.

What goes in here

Short notes on designing and shipping products, running small companies, and the habits that keep the work calm. Some are polished essays. Most are field notes written the same week something happened.

If a note helps you avoid one mistake I made, it has done its job.

How the site is built

The site is designed in Framer and Webflow, with every note stored in a CMS. It loads fast, works without an account and is easy for me to update from anywhere, which matters more than any clever feature.
